Track 1: FREE FALLING

 

This is one of our most uncomplicated songs as far as musical orchestration goes and that’s why it stands out on its own, a lovely female vocal, keyboard, strings and guitar.

 

Track 2: FAST  TRAIN

 

Climb on board now for this track, showing the versatility of Peace of Mind, the lyrics for this song were written by John  McDonald (a fellow Scot who lives in Bangkok), inspired us to write an up-tempo  piece of music that moves along as if on a train yourself, a strong lead male vocal with great backing harmonies.

 

Track 3: NAMASTE

 

Welcome  to our Indian influence, this is a wonderful orchestral achievement by Al, drawing from his years of living in India with Peter adding his own magic on a 12 string guitar.

 

Track 4: STAY CLOSE TO YOUR HEART


One of our most cherished songs on the CD, highlighting our versatility through use of tempo variations, chord progressions, harmonies and a lovely instrumental break with guitar and violin.

Track 5: THINKING OF YOU


For the jazz lovers, this song was a bit of fun which took us way out of our safety zone, female vocal backed by some groovy jazz guitar, keyboard and strings.

 

Track 6: CLIMATE CHANGE


A testament to Peace of Mind's insight as to what is currently happening in the world regarding “Climate Change”, there is a message in the song for everyone, nine minutes of amazingly orchestrated music with strong vocal and lyrics.

 

Track 7: THIS PLACE


Changing to an upbeat country style, this song  was inspired by our present western lifestyle, incorporating  a laid back country guitar feel, key boards, violin and strings, the female lead vocal is backed by a second giving a lovely warmth.

We are very proud of this our title track, a haunting orchestral masterpiece so complex in its making, every time you listen  you will hear something new, the track is multilayered with the main vocals inter-twined along with an angelic choir all complimenting the orchestration creating a dreamlike experience.
